There is limited on street parking in the town centre – Main Street, Queens Square, New Road and Fairbank.

Blue Badge Parking

On-street parking allows one extra hour for blue badge holders. Round the edge of Market Square, that is a total of 3 hours (no return within one hour). See the Cumbria County Council website.

Pay & Display allows one extra on top of the time paid blue badge holders. i.e. buy 1 hour get 2 hours parking, buy 2 hours get 3 hours parking. See the SLDC website.
