Your Taskmaster, Issy Bradshaw, will release a video with a task every week to make the Summer Holiday more fun for the whole community! Tasks will go live at 9 am every Monday, after which you will have 54 hours to complete the task, before 3pm on that Wednesday. Results will be announced on Friday each week! Summer Holiday Kid’s Food Bags
The Community Cupboard is putting together bags for families living in Kirkby Lonsdale or the surrounding areas, who could use a food boost during the summer holidays. Sign up once and collect up to three bags throughout the summer, or talk to us about the other ways we can help. Find out more on the Community Cupboard website and sign up here.
Community Cafe
Visit the Community Café every Saturday throughout the Summer Holidays at the Lunesdale Hall from 10 am to 12 noon. There will be tea, coffee, squash and traybakes as well as games, books and a jigsaw to try and finish within 2 hours! Find out more on The Community Cupboard website.
Community Kid’s Cinema
Once a week, there will be a free community cinema at the Lunesdale Hall throughout the summer holidays. Donations are welcome though and will go towards the rent of the hall. Find out more on The Community Cupboard website.
