Rise out of Lockdown with Kirkby Lonsdale at the Phoenix Rising Art Exhibition this July and August. The exhibition will be taking place all day every day from Monday 19th July to Friday 6th August at St Mary’s Church, Kirkby Lonsdale.
The Exhibition
The exhibition will include work from the Phoenix Rising Art Taster workshops which have been taking place in Kirkby Lonsdale since April 2021. Participants from each workshop will be displaying their artwork which they created to help themselves, and each other, rise out of Lockdown by socialising and learning something new.
The Phoenix Rising exhibition will be a safe space
throughout July and August where visitors will be advised to sanitise upon
entry and wear masks while inside the building.
The Workshops
The workshops were delivered by Green Close Studio and included a smartphone photography workshop called Gratitude Gallery, a mapmaking workshop by called Myths and Legends, a working with clay workshop called Tree of Life and a Making and drawing workshop called Kirkby Towntastic.
