We need volunteers to help make the Platinum Jubilee community event happen!
The Dancing Through The Decades Platinum Jubilee event is a super community-focused event taking place this Summer: Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June. We need volunteers before, during and after the event to make sure everyone has the best experience possible and to keep our town safe. Find out more about the Jubilee celebrations here.
Volunteer With Us
We want to provide a fun and friendly volunteer experience for all – where you can meet members of the community, make friends, learn about town events and celebrate our town’s culture & heritage. There are many reasons why people volunteer and we want you to have a great experience doing so!

- Thursday 2nd June, 7pm – 10pm
- Friday 3rd June, 10am – 7pm (in 3 hour shifts)
- Saturday 4th June, 10am – 7pm (in 3 hour shifts)
- Town Decorators

- First Aid
- Thursday 2nd June, 7pm – 10pm
- Friday 3rd June, 10am – 7pm
- Saturday 4th June, 10am – 7pm
- Mental Health First Aid

- Equipment Collection

- Set Up and Take Down (Market Square “Street Party”)
