The Highwayman is situated just in Lancashire and a stone’s throw from the borders of Yorkshire and Cumbria.
It began life as an C18th coaching inn and it still offers a welcome to travellers. The inn is widely known for its food and specialises in finding quality fresh ingredients. The menu is a mix of classic British dishes and more exotic influences. It is uploaded onto the Highwayman Inn website each day before 12 noon.
The bar has stone flags, wood floors and open fires, There’s a garden room and walled terrace, and a private dining room for small gatherings.
