We would love to welcome you to the Kirkby Lonsdale Information and Gift Shop.
Our team of over 30 volunteers can offer information on everything there is to do in the area. We also stock a good range of leaflets, guide books, and maps. While you’re in the shop you can browse our souvenirs ranging from fridge magnets to felt pictures and hand painted glass.
You’ll find the gift shop in the centre of the town, in the former bank. If you have a few minutes to spare, pop in and watch some of the stories in The Vault – an interactive film experience.

Christine Carradice
Christine Carradice is a silk painter and textile artist based in Settle, North Yorkshire. She loves yoga, walking, cycling and generally being outdoors. She paints hills, fells, houses, barns, dry stone walls, flowers and sheep. Christine’s painting is inspired by the beautiful countryside around her – whether it’s the Yorkshire Dales, the South Lakes, the Lake District or West Yorkshire . She also has a range of gorgeous, brightly coloured hand painted silk scarves. I’m very happy for people to order from my website or to message me on Facebook for any further information.
Daisy Dot
Jo lives on the outskirts of Kendal in an old converted chapel, she’s married and has a spotty dog called Daisy 😉Her gran taught her to crochet as a child, but she started it up again a couple of years ago as a way to relax, but it’s got a little out of hand and she now ends up crocheting just about everything from hats to tea cozies to sheep and plants!Kate’s Jewellery
Kate’s Jewellery are a Cumbrian based jeweller and have been working with Kirkby Lonsdale Tourist Information centre since 2018. In the Summer you can find Kate at many of the country fairs and shows in and around Cumbria and Lancashire, and at Christmas you can find her at local Shows and Festive events including Kirkby Lonsdale Christmas Fair.
Keasden Craft Studio
Keasden Craft Studio is located in North Yorkshire, just inside the Forest of Bowland.
Her creations are made from polymer clay, all designed, decorated, and finished by hand, with each item being unique. Polymer clay is baked in the oven, so it’s an ideal medium for a small, home-based crafter. She loves experimenting with colours, paints, metal foils, and silkscreens to make unique designs, and can never be sure how the decorative techniques will turn out. Happy accidents are always the best!
You’ll also find earrings and necklaces in fine silver (that’s 999, not 925 silver) and bronze. The silver and bronze come in the form of a metal clay which has to be torch fired or baked in a kiln. Metal clay work is really fascinating. It’s like magic! and Instagram.
Check out her designs on Facebook and Instagram.
