Whittington Parish Church Organ Grand Opening Recital
The organ at Whittington Parish Church is an extremely rare example of an Issac Abbot pipe organ still in working order and after it’s recent restoration you are invited to hear it in celebration at an exciting Grand Opening Recital on Saturday 8th October 2022 at 3pm. The 1883 organ will be played by Adrian Self, the organist at Cartmel Priory.
Admission is free and open to all. After the recital there will be afternoon tea with cakes, and a retiring collection. Come along to see the magnificent organ reinstated in the church…
