Cumbria Festival Chorus
On Saturday 9th July 2022 at 7.30pm in the Westmorland Hall, Kendal Leisure Centre, we will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Vaughan Williams by performing his wonderful Sea Symphony, one of the most exciting choral pieces, together with his Benedicite. The soloists will be Sarah Fox (soprano) and our patron Roderick Williams (baritone). To complete the programme, Roland Fudge will be the violin soloist in The Lark Ascending.

Cumbria Festival Chorus is a large-scale, county-wide choir drawn from all communities in Cumbria and beyond. Our events are open for participation without audition to all enthusiastic singers committed to developing the rich heritage of the British choral tradition.
