Geoweek 2022
Local geologist Carolina Goodship will lead a geo-walk from Devil’s Bridge to Ruskin’s View on Saturday 7th May 2022 at 2pm, to explore the rocky outcrops and discover how they offer a glimpse into the evolution of our earth.
Overall walking distance is 1.1 miles taking 1.5 to 2 hours. Sturdy footwear recommended. The steep Radical steps are at the end of the walk.
The event is organised by Cumbria Geoconservation for Geoweek 2022, a national initiative to introduce people of all ages to the amazing world of geoscience. More information is here
