Kirkby Lonsdale Womens Institute
Kirkby Lonsdale WI will be meeting on Wednesday 7th September 2022 at 7.30pm in the Lunesdale Hall. Come along to hear Emily Burr, Head of Confectionery Buying at Booths Supermarkets share her story…..
Whilst studying for her degree in Food Technology, Emily gained a four week placement at Booths, setting her on her sugary career…and she hasn’t looked back since! She will explain what the role of a confectionary buyer involves and the range of products she selects…the evening will include tasting samples.
