Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band Contest
Market Square, Kirkby Lonsdale
On Sunday 19th June 2022 we have 10 bands, including our own Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band, who will be marching down the street and playing an entertaining programme in the square in the heart of town. Training bands will be in the Market Square from 11.15am, and Senior bands from 12.30pm.
Do come along and support this event, buy a raffle ticket or donate a Raffle prize and watch the bands march down the street with the brass music resonating in the town. Seats are provided in the Market Square.
Kirkby Lonsdale Brass Band
We are a musically diverse and talented brass band performing at local events in Kirkby Lonsdale and beyond.
The band is one of the oldest in the country, with records from 1821. more information on our Facebook page
