Ukraine Fundraiser
Whelprigg House near Barbon will be holding a Daffodil Day on Sunday 3rd April 2022 from 12 noon to 4pm to raise funds for the Ukraine Appeal. Volunteers will be running various stalls including home produce, bric-a-brac, and books, as well as a raffle and games for all ages.
Owner Henry Bowring is keen to open his gardens to raise as much as possible for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. There will be a spectacular show of daffodils and narcisii with refreshments available.
Entry
Tickets are £4 on the gate, including tea or coffee. No charge for children.

Directions
From Kirkby Lonsdale, take the A65 over the Lune then the A683 north towards Sedbergh. Half a mile beyond the village of Casterton, fork to the right onto a narrow lane sign–posted for Barbon. After half a mile you will see, to your right, a stone archway (part of an old railway embankment). Go through this archway and up the drive to Whelprigg House.
