Lighting up the community differently this year…
We are delighted to be putting on the Kirkby Lonsdale Christmas Fair this year on Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th December. We have taken the decision to make it a community focused event with a slightly different programme than usual: you can look forward to a smaller, spacious Chalet Village, Indoor Market and Late Night Shopping; a community focused Christmas light switch-on, lantern procession and carol singing; a community play called Peter’s Promise and guided lantern walks over the Christmas Fair weekend.
We are placing an emphasis on #shoplocal #belocal #staylocal and we hope that by Christmas 2022 we will be able to put on a fully fledged Christmas extravaganza…

We need over 300 lanterns to boost the Christmas magic and bring the festive community spirit alive! If you are interested in taking part or leading a lantern-making workshop please contact Janet Nuttall by email: janetmistle@yahoo.co.uk
